Yes, but this feature would need to be requested of Chord to convert your filename and artwork information into the metadata sent to connected DLNA clients. Glider has no access to the filesystem, so it doesn’t actually know what your file names are or that a cover.jpg file exists.
As an example, I’ve loaded up an untagged WAV file on the SD card of my Poly, and here is the entirety of information available to Glider about the file while browsing by folder:
<item id="64$0$0$0" parentID="64$0$0" restricted="1">
<dc:title>The Gaslight Anthem - The '59 Sound Sessions - 01 The '59 Sound</dc:title>
<upnp:class>object.item.audioItem.musicTrack</upnp:class>
<res size="33151484" duration="0:03:07.933" bitrate="1411200" sampleFrequency="44100"
nrAudioChannels="2" protocolInfo="http-get:*:audio/x-wav:*">
http://10.0.1.22:8200/MediaItems/24.wav
</res>
</item>
You can see there is no artist, album or artwork information. The file name has been used for the title, which does display properly in Glider along with the parent folder name:
