Qobuz integration would be a nice feature as their app allows streaming via Airplay but it’s limited to 16/44.1. Being able to use Glider to select a DNLA renderer would overcome this. I haven’t looked into it much but it seems it should be possible using their API https://github.com/Qobuz/api-documentation
Since Qobuz updated its pricing policy I support this feature.
Would definitely be a great addition! As far as I know there are no way to stream Qobuz to Chord Poly using an iOS device while keeping sound quality (airplay cuts to 16 bits…)
Well, there is. But not with Glider. There is another app out there, that is possible to stream in 24 bit over DLNA. But it looks awful…
what’s the name of the app? is that mConnect? not sure if it can stream hires 24bit tracks from qobuz…
Yes, it is. And you can connect Qobuz and Tidal. Just download the “lite” version and check it out. It streams in 24 bit over DLNA.
wow, great. the UI looks a bit outdated and sound is better with Roon but it does its job. thanks
As for Tidal and Qobuz, it would be nice if both of them can integrate with more platforms. For me, now I am using Tidal, but to get Tidal music play on other devices, I have to use a third-party tool Tidal Converter to convert the audio formats of Tidal so that I can use them smoothly.
I use the Tidal to MP3 Converter from DRmare to enjoy Tidal music on other devices, since Tidal hasn’t integrated with most devices and platforms.
